Bjorn Johnson- LHP
Bjorn Johnson is a LHP/1B and played at City for 11 seasons, from 8-18U. Johnson prepped at Lincoln High school and led his team to the 2023 3A State Championship. After the season, he was honored at the Gatorade State Player of the Year. The hard throwing left pitcher committed to play college baseball at Auburn University. Bjorn was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2023 MLB draft and signed in late July. Bjorn continues to train at the Facility during the off-seasons and mentor young players. Jesse Brown- C/OF
Jesse played City Baseball from 13-18U and continues to train at the City Facility. Brown was an All-State Performer and three sport star at Chief Sealth High. One of the most dynamic players in club history, Brown is a unique blend of power and speed. A 2021 Grad, Jesse accepted a scholarship and played collegiately at UC-Santa Barbara. In his JR. Year Jesse helped the Gauchos secure a Regional Host bid for the NCAA Regional tournament. Brown would go on to hit 2 homeruns in their opening round game vs Fresno State. For the 2024 season, Jesse was selected as an all-Big West Performer with a 350/.429/.560 slash line, with 12 doubles, 10 home runs and 42 RBIs. Brown decided to Forego his senior season and signed with the Miami Marlins at the conclusion of his Jr. Season.
Nestor German- RHP
Nestor German is a RHP and played at City for 4 seasons, from 15-18U. One of the hardest working players in club history, Nestor went from throwing upper 70's as a Freshman in HS to throwing mid 90's by his Junior year in college. German prepped at Chief Sealth HS and played collegiately at Seattle University for three seasons. After his Jr. year at Seattle U, "Big Nes" was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2023 MLB Draft and signed in July of 2023. Nestor continues to train at the Facility during the off-seasons, and he also enjoys giving pitching lessons to our young players. Corbin Carrol- OF
Corbin Carrol is a LHH/OF and played at City for 5 seasons (8-12U). He continued to train at City throughout his HS career and during his time in the minor leagues. Carrol prepped at Lakeside HS and also starred for the WW Sweets, Evoshield Canes and Team USA during the summers of his prep Career. The 2019 Washington Gatorade POY committed to play collegiately at UCLA but was selected in the 1st Round of the 2019 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Corbin made his debut with the Dbacks in 2022 and was the National League Rookie of the Year in 2023, helping lead his team to an appearance in the 2023 World Series. Eli Trop-RHP
Eli played 11 season for City Baseball (8-18U). A Ballard Little league product, Trop attended Lakeside High School and lettered in Baseball and Football. A hard throwing RHP, Trop also dedicated himself in the weight room and turned himself into a professional prospect. Eli played collegiality at the University of Pennsylvania and helped lead his team to two NCAA regional's in his three years on campus. Armed with a 93-7 MPH riding fastball, Trop fanned 82 batters in 55 innings while holding opponents to a .179 batting average during his career at Penn. Eli graduated from Penn in the spring on 2024, with a year of collegiate eligibility remaining and committed to play for the Texas Longhorns his Senior Season; yet he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 16th round of the 2024 MLB draft and decided to begin his professional career. Truitt Madonna- C
Truitt was a key clog for City 18u showcase and starred at Ballard HS. A 4 year starter, As a senior Madonna was named Metro Player of the year and led the Beavers to the state Semi-Finals. A dynamic Catcher, with a strong strong arm and light tower power, Madonna received multiple accolades during his Sr. Season, including multiple first team All-State Honors.
Post Graduation Madonna had a strong showing in the MLB Draft League and was drafted by the San Diego Padres. He chose to sign with the Padres and forego his commitment to UCLA.
